WHAT KINDS OF SERVICES ARE RENDERED BY THE ALARM MONITORING STATION?
The Ministry of Domestic Affairs determines the order of priorities to be observed by the user companies of the Alarm Monitoring Station in sending alarms to the operation centers of the Police/Gendarmerie. In the event of an alarm situation, operators of the AMS call the relevant parties (police, gendarmerie, fire brigades, ambulance and you) in accordance with the predetermined procedures in order to inform them of the situation. Trained operators analyze information such as customer-triggered alarms (burglary, duress, money trap, panic button), fire, sabotage, emergency alarm, failure, breakdown etc. by using computers and ensure that necessary action is taken. Operators meticulously distinguish wrong alarms from the right ones in order to prevent reception of wrong information.
Moreover, the AMS also controls information other than alarms coming from the installed systems. For instance, information such as state of low/full batteries, power failures, supervision of regional breakdowns or execution of a regional installation is monitored as well. If a piece of information received from a customer’s system notifies a breakdown or a misuse, the security company who has installed the system will be informed to ensure the execution of the required technical action in the system.
If the customer has declared to the AMS specific hours for the activation and deactivation of the alarm system (for instance, 08.00 AM and 19.00 PM, i.e. during open hours), we will notify the customer whenever the system is prematurely inactivated or has not been activated at the given hour to eliminate the risk of burglary by insiders in systems with multiple users (when there are more than one people authorized to use the system).
The control of the connection between the security system and the center (whether information signals arrive or not) is carried out by means of test signals at given hours. If signals coming from the systems connected to our center are not received at these given hours, we will immediately warn the customer.
All signals coming from the systems connected to the Alarm Monitoring Station are sent to customers in the form of monthly reports by fax, mail or e-mail. Retrospective signals are AMShived in the Center of Security Systems and will be made available to you upon your request in the form of a report.

- Burglary alarms: These are auidable alarms generated by detectors connected to the system after the activation of the security system. The operator who has received such an alarm first calls the subscribed user (following the order of the responsible officials to be called as indicated in subscribed user’s information form passing to the next when a called responsible official is not available) to inform the called responsible official. The operation is carried on in line with the instructions of the responsible official of the subscribed user. If, in such a situation, the subscribed user requests intervention by security forces, then the responsible official of the subscribed user will be obliged to accompany the security forces on the site where the system is located.
- Robbery alarms (silent alarms): These alarms are received at the center when, in case of a robbery, a panic button is pressed. Alarm will be sent when the panic button is pressed regardless of whether the security system is activated or not. The panic button remains active 24 hours a day. Nothing is heard on the site where the system is located when this alarm is sent. The operator who has received the alarm immediately contacts the security forces station nearest to the subscribed user’s premises and informs them about user’s data and type of alarm. Normally, in urban zones, the response time of the security forces is 3 minutes on the average. The operator shall not contact the subscribed user during that time for the safety of the subscribed user. The result of the incident shall be learnt later from security forces.

The operation is carried on in line with the instructions of the responsible official of the subscribed user. If, in such a situation, the subscribed user requests intervention by security forces, then the responsible official of the subscribed user shall be obliged to accompany the security forces on the site where the system is located.

The operator who has received the alarm immediately contacts the security forces station nearest to the subscribed user’s premises and communicates them information regarding the subscribed user and inform them of the type of the alarm. Normally, in urban zones, the response time of the security forces is 3 minutes on the average. The operator shall not contact the subscribed user during that time for the safety of the subscribed user. The result of the incident shall be learnt later from security forces.
- Alarms of fire – gas leakage - inundation: These alarms do not concern directly security forces but fire brigades. - Medical alarm (emergency aid alarm): This is a silent alarm normally sent by pressing an emergency button on the keyboard of the security panel. It means that medical aid is required. If the subscribed user has no other request, the operator who has received this alarm will call the ambulance service dialing 1 1 2 and provide them with information about the subscribed user.
- Entry/exit theft alarms (alarms such as premature opening alarm): When a person enters a place where the system is located outside entry hours determined by you, people designated by you to this effect will be informed, even if the person in question has entered by using his code.
In addition, our center also issues reports about the system at predetermined intervals in accordance with the requests of the customers. The most demanded-for report is the report of opening/closing. This report shows the time of the opening, i.e. of the deactivation of the security system when people start using the protected premises (offices or residences), and the time of the closing, i.e. of the reactivation of the security system when there is nobody left in the protected premises. As people authorized to turn on and off the system must use personal codes, it is possible to easily monitor by means of this report the persons who have entered or left the premises with date and time of the entry and exit.
